The Defy Cancer Program is a free six-week program for men and women who are currently going through, or have had a cancer diagnoses. This six week program will be held on Thursday mornings from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at New World Fitness on Topsail Road, Mount Pearl. What an amazing day at Paddle in Paradise! Dragon boating is becoming one of the biggest summer sports on the Avalon with over 500 paddlers on twenty-seven teams participating in this year's Festival. Team Campia won the gold medal with a record breaking time of 1.09! Silver went to Memorial Sync or Swim and Bronze went to the MADHATTERS!
