2026 Training Weekend
Every year we look forward to Tim Schaus coming to NL to spend a weekend with our team, sharing his incredible expertise in coaching dragon boat racing. We learn so much from him and appreciate the time he carves out for us. His humour, warmth and compassion help us forget about the cold weather and we strive to absorb everything he teaches. Such a valuable experience for each and every paddler! Thank you Tim! And thank you to our steerspeople, coaches, and safety boat crew w

The boats are on the water!
What a beautiful day to remove the dragon boats from the containers at Octagon Pond! Lots of hands to speed up the process. Lots of excitement in the air. Our paddling season starts on Tuesday May 19th. Fingers crossed the wind will cooperate.

Amazing Women
Today is International Women's Day. Let's celebrate all the amazing women in our lives. We would like to recognize two of our members who received special awards recently. The Conception Bay Area Chamber of Commerce awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award to Jennifer Lake. And ACTRA NL honoured Doreen Reardigan. These two ladies inspire us in so many ways. Congratulations!

Goals were established for training and the excitement could be felt for the start of paddling in May. 2026 is especially exciting with the team's re
