Planning Day 2026

January brings blustery days and cold temperatures but it also allows time to reflect on the previous year and plan for the upcoming paddling season. The annual Planning Day brought the Avalon Dragons together for a day of focused discussions, inspirational moments, warmth and camaraderie, with a fabulous pot luck lunch to boot! Goals were established for training and the excitement could be felt for the start of paddling in May. 2026 is especially exciting with the team's registration in the IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival in Aix-les-Bains, France.
