Bronze Medal in Calgary!

The Avalon Dragons captured a bronze medal in the Survivor Race at the 2025 Calgary Dragon Boat Festival. And posted fabulous times in the 200m and 500m women's races. The team is incredibly thankful for our coaches Bruce Piller and Laura-Gail Careen (Thompson) who attended the festival with us and coaches Paul Pearson and Bruce Whitelaw who sent encouragement from home. All our coaches have motivated us, inspired us and brought us to this remarkable achievement. We are so privileged to have their expertise guiding us on this crazy, fun and uplifting journey. What a way to cap off our 2025 paddling season!
