The wonderful staff at Sharrington's invited the Avalon Dragons to take part in a fashion show and book signing this month at their store on Elizabeth Avenue.
As several team members modeled the fashions, author Denika Phillpott was in-store signing copies of her biography - Overcomer, which documents her experience with breast cancer.
All day, both Sharrington's and Denika Phillpott generously donated 10% of their sales to support the Avalon Dragons. And because a winter storm had taken over the city of St. John's that day, Sharrington's continued their promotion the following Saturday.
